Botto Brothers was separated once again, to allow the plumbing union access to the major construction jobs that were taking place. Richard ran the company independently until the mid 80's, when his two sons, Hunter and Roger, decided to join the family business. At this time, Hunter was discharged from his position as a Propulsion Engineer in the US Navy, and Roger had completed studies at the State University at Delhi, receiving a degree in occupational studies.
