1937 Bob and Irwin Botto opened a plumbing, hardware, and appliance business in downtown Hicksville, Long Island, to serve the new growth of central Nassau County during the late 1930's, 40’s, and 50’s. While most of their work focused on new construction, the building was used as a base of operation until the mid 1950’s.
